Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Develop budget plans and ensure cost efficiency.
- Provide cost advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
- Evaluate contractor bids and assist in contract negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize resources.
- Measure and evaluate construction work done on-site.
- Certify interim payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- Prepare and manage final accounts upon project completion.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts.
- Advise on procurement strategies and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and contract laws.
- Manage claims, disputes, and variations.
- Collaborate with legal teams on contract-related matters.
Qualifications
- Â BE. /B. Tech. or Diploma civil or Quantity Surveying
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, or other construction software.
