1. Design Engineer – Transmission Line

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Civil Design)
Experience: 3–12 years in Transmission Line towers, foundations, and gantry structures.
Software Skills: PLS CADD
Technical Expertise: Route selection, profiling, sag and tension charts.
2. Lead – Design Engineering (Civil & Structural)
Job Code: LNTDE/S1248870
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Civil)
Experience: 9–15 years in Substation, Switchyard & Power Transmission design.
Responsibilities:

Civil & structural design of foundations, buildings, and gantry structures.

Coordination with internal and external teams.

Knowledge of GIS substations, control buildings, tower foundations, and earthing.

Supervision of design documentation and quality standards.
3. Detailing Engineer – Transmission Line
Job Code: LNTDE/1413019
Qualification: Diploma or ITI (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
Experience: 3–5 years in Transmission Line Towers and Civil Foundations.
Software Skills: AutoCAD, BOCAD TOWER.
Responsibilities: Drafting and detailing works related to transmission lines and structures.
Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech) with 3–15 years of experience in design and engineering roles.

Hands-on experience in design and detailed engineering for power transmission and distribution projects in India or overseas.

L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution IC (PT&D) provides integrated solutions for design, supply, installation, and commissioning of transmission lines, substations, underground cable networks, and electrification projects. The division also executes major infrastructure and microgrid projects.
