Indian Space Research Organization/Department of Space Centres/Units are engaged in Research and Development activities in the realm of Space Application, Space Science and Technology for the benefit of society at large and for serving the nation by achieving self-reliance and developing capacity to design and build Launch Vehicles and Communication/Remote Sensing Satellites and thereafter launch them.
The Civil Engineering Programme Office (CEPO) at ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru and Construction and Maintenance Division (CMDs) located at various ISRO Centres/Units are responsible for planning, design, construction and maintenance of all ground based structures, buildings and associated facilities to cater to the Indian Space Programme.
ISRO offers the position of Scientist/Engineer `SC’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Post) in constituent Centres/Units and Group ‘A’ (Non-Gazetted Post) in Autonomous Bodies in Level 10 of Pay Matrix to the young graduates in the following disciplines (i) Civil; (ii) Electrical; (iii) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and (iv) Architecture.

Qualification
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
- Bachelor degree in Architecture with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA 6.84/10 and Valid Registration Certificate with Council of Architecture
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Age Limit
28 years as on 14.07.2025 (33 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 31 years in case of OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories). Serving Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

SC/ST candidates born on or after 15.07.1992
Application Fee
-
- There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- ( Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for all the posts. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as processing fee. The processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written test as under:
- ₹750/- i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
- ₹500/- i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.
Refund of fee shall be made only to the bank account details as provided by the candidate in the application. Hence, Candidates are required to provide correct and complete bank Account details i.e., Account holder name, Account Number and IFSC Code. ICRB shall not be responsible for failure to grant refund due to incorrect bank details provided by the candidate. Please note that refund will not be considered if a candidate fails to appear for the Written Test. Service charges, if any, levied by the platform for payment of fee shall be borne by the Applicant.
How to Apply
- Candidates may apply for multiple posts, subject to conditions. However, candidates applying for multiple posts should select common (same) written test Centres. Candidates have to make application fee payment separately for applications for all the posts.
- The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO website between 24.06.2025 and 14.07.2025. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- The last date for submitting on-line application is 14.07.2025. In case of submission of multiple applications, the latest/last application submitted before the last date of submitting the application-i.e. 14.07.2025, for which payment is made shall be taken as final.
- The Candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit ISRO website and follow the application procedure as stated.
