Position: Precast Concrete Design Engineer
Job Description: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) seeking a skilled Precast Concrete Design Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in precast design and execution in projects. The role involves:
- Performing design for concrete precast elements.
- Designing lifting devices for various shapes, sizes, and weights of precast elements.
- Planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and execution strategy for precast execution.
- Coordinating with site teams to implement value addition through precast concepts.
- Visiting domestic and international project sites for implementing precast philosophy.
- Reporting project progress and cost optimization through precasting to higher management.
- Leading execution teams at site for precast work.
- Developing concepts in mould/lifting arrangements, stage-wise production, and addressing transportation challenges.
- Understanding drawings, innovative formwork schemes, and various connections.
- Knowledge of shuttering and scaffolding schemes and detailed drawings is preferable.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: B.E. in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 5 - 15 years in precast design and execution
- Sub-Function: Precast Design / Lifting Devices
