Job Advertisement: Multiple Openings in the Design Team – Power T&D Business at Gurugram

GRIL (Gurugram) invites applications for various positions in the Design Team for the Power T&D Business Unit at the Corporate Office, Gurugram.

Open Positions

1. Lead - Transmission
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Electrical
   • Experience: 15-18 years
   • Key Skills: Expertise in line design, feasibility studies, uprating existing lines, line realignment design, tower/pole structure analysis, and foundation design using PLS Tower software.
2. Lead - Substation Civil Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Civil
   • Experience: 10-12 years
   • Key Skills: Detailed design and drawing of 765/400 KV substation civil structures including substation buildings, equipment support structures, fire water systems, and retaining walls.
3. Engineer - Substation Civil Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Civil
   • Experience: 4-7 years
   • Key Skills: Proficient in civil structure designs for 765/400 KV substations including supporting structures, substation buildings, and other critical components.
4. Lead - Substation Electrical Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Electrical
   • Experience: 10-12 years
   • Key Skills: Proficiency in technical specification review, substation layout design, cable routing, SLD preparation, earthing layout, and outdoor illumination plans for AIS & GIS substations.
5. Engineer - Substation Electrical Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Electrical
   • Experience: 4-7 years
   • Key Skills: Expertise in layout preparation for AIS & GIS substations, cable routing, and BOQ preparation.
6. Lead - Layout Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Electrical
   • Experience: 12-15 years
   • Key Skills: Proficiency in optimizing placement of equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, and gantries to ensure efficient material usage and space optimization.
7. Engineer - Tower Design
   • Qualification: B.Tech. - Electrical
   • Experience: 3-5 years
   • Key Skills: Modeling, analysis, and optimization of overhead transmission line towers using PLS Tower. Capable of performing sag-tension and loading calculations, clearance diagrams, and loading tree preparation as per specifications.

Key Requirements Across Roles

• Hands-on experience with relevant design software and methodologies.
• Expertise in AIS & GIS substation projects (220/400/765 KV).
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, design review, and quality assurance.
• Proven ability to deliver detailed design engineering solutions.
